Enjoying fall!

Notice the Y on Avrie's cheek. She is a huge BYU fan and had to have a Y painted on her cheek (not a pretty butterfly or sparkly fairy eyes but a Y - for her DAD!

We went to Gardener Village to see the funny witches they had for Halloween. Aunt Nicki was nice to take a few - ok probably around 100 pictures. We had a lot of fun! Thanks again Nick.

Chelsey said...: Ash, Avrie is beautiful! I can't believe she's 5! They grow so fast don't they?! She makes such a cute Snow White! McKayla was Sleeping Beauty for Halloween. I'm sorry to hear Kevin got Swine Flu! Luckily it hasn't hit our immediate family, but my nieces got it. I've been so worried about Aaron bringing it home from the Pharmacy. Olivia isn't 6 months old yet so I can't vaccinate her. Anywho...You look great, I'm glad Kevin is feeling better and that everything is going well for you and yours. From the imagination of a 4 year old...

Avrie has a new favorite thing to do... Riddles... well kind of. Thats what she calls them, but they are more like guessing games. So she was on a roll the other night. It all started out with say milk 5 times then she would ask what do cows drink. Then she went on to have me try guess what Grandpa she was thinking about. She is so lucky to have a lot of Grandpa's to spoil her. First one was - which one has a hat and a beard - Grandpa Jungle. 2nd one was - who has a belly and always has a bird on his shirt - Grandpa Cheese (he is the hollister king) and 3rd which one has a pocket on his shirt and probably has a candy bar in his other pocket - Grandpa Joey hahaha I think it's so cute how she notices the littlest things!
This is the cutest thing Avrie has ever said to me - she said - Mom when I was in your tummy, did I kiss your belly because I bet I loved the inside of you just as much as I love the outside of you!
I went up to my Mom's and didn't take Avrie. I was going to the sundance film festival and the night before during our family prayer I was saying how I was thankful for Kevin for letting me take a girls day with my Mom and sister. I screwed up and let the secret out. She yelled WHAT! She has been really wanting to go to my Moms to get her ears pierced. So once I explained why she couldn't go she said - just promise me you won't get my ears pierced without me. Ha ha thats pretty much impossible!
Four year old can be so honest. Avrie asked her Grandpa why he was groing a beard in his nose.
When Avrie came home from school today she said - Mom we need to take my finger nail polish off right when we get home because all of the boys are saying I am gorgeous and thats disgusting.
Avrie jumped off of the couch the other day and when she landed she said - Man I didn't have any of these aches when I was three.
We ran into Avrie's dance teacher Brittany on the day we voted and asked if Avrie could get back into dance. Now whenever Avrie sees a picture of Barack Obama, she says - thanks to Barack Obama, I get to dance! hahaha
I put Avrie back in dance (which she loves with all of her heart she says) and when I went to pick her up she said OK Mom you can take me out of school now.
Avrie is no longer a Sunbeam in Primary. She came out of class and said I am in VCR class (meaning CTR)! She got a CTR Ring her first day of CTR 5 and said I don't need this I am going to give it to some bad kid.
Avrie said the prayer on Christmas and this is what she said: Dear Heavenly Father, we wish you a Merry Christmas. It was so cute!
